Hey all, it's that time of year, when navel-gazing is de rigueur. So, in the spirit of introspection, I present to you a summary of what I've been up to for the last 12 months.
I would have trimmed this down to the requisite twelve pieces, one from each month, except for two things: 1) I actually didn't draw AT ALL last January due to RL being overwhelmingly busy, and 2) I didn't want to cut any of them out. Well, I did include just the one clock drawing, because I really didn't think everyone would want to look at all eleven of them.
Actually that first thing lead me to the Holy Shit moment of, "I drew twice as many things this year, but with one less month to do it in." I am going to echo
alby_mangroves, and say that if 2012 was a busy year for me, art-wise, then god knows how I got anything done in RL at all in 2013.

Click it if you feel like seeing it huge, lol.
I went a little ink happy there for a bit on all those chapter breaks (it was wonderful), and I got to use my favorite ad-hoc medium (instant coffee) twice this year! I discovered chalk pastels and promptly fell in love with them while re-creating my idea of Colin's backside. There's crossdressing, and a kilt, and a character I'd never drawn before. Cuddling, and angst, and complete and utter shamelessness.
I blame my primary inspiration, those two idiots in love and their very obvious translation into a pair of weirdos. I also blame myenablers betas and cheeleaders, and the wonderful writers who wrote the words that let me see these things. Bless you, each and every one!
May next year prove to be as delightfully occupied as this one was!
{ETA: oh, yeah, there is that one outstanding anon piece that I couldn't put in here just yet. I'll update the post with a new image just as soon as I can admit to that one, lol}
{ETA2: Reveals happened! So here it is in all it's non-anon glory.}
