Recently asya_ana asked for long plotty fic recs at this post. And, being a complete sucker for long plotty fics, I wandered through the comments and found at least one I hadn't seen before.

Summary: Immortality was never something Arthur Pendragon had wanted. Merlin didn't give him that choice. As the rest of the world reincarnates, blissfully oblivious, Arthur continues, waiting for the one man who never came back.

GUYS, it's based on the video There Are Legends by ras_elased (um, probably NSFW, lol, come to think of it), which I found years ago and fell instantly in love with and always wanted to see a fic about. If you haven't seen it, you should. And then you should go read the fic.

Thanks for the fic rec. I'll have to check this fic out. I remember watching that fanvid, so it's exciting that there's a fic based on it. Awesome. :D

That was pretty much my response.... reading along in the summary and interested, until I stumbled over the bit about it being based on that vid and then I about fell off my chair in excitement, lol. Hope you enjoy it, and if you do be sure to leave some love for it, it's sorely underappreciated!

Yeah, that vid was really good, and it's even better there's a story to go with it. I'll definitely leave a comment once I read it. I've got the story on my Kindle now ready to read. :)

\o/ You're welcome! I really need to rec things more often. For a long and plotty fic, it reads pretty quickly. Or that could be me, reading it quickly, hard to tell. I tend to devour fics, being used to reading large books.
