Year in Review- Art of 2011

Hey all, I've seen a few of these so far (reni, amph, and mice come to mind) and thought they were neat.

So here's a little review of my art for the year.

There's all kinds of mediums in there; graphite on paper, watercolor pencil, sepia ink, and even a digitally painted piece. There are a few things that didn't make it in here, like the pieces I did for the fanartivation grid projects (which were cool, but not original pieces of mine; I just copied them in my style) and a couple of sketches. But I still feel like this does a good job of representing my style and abilities.

Am I completely happy with all of my works for the year? Mostly. There will always be bits that I pick at and want to improve upon but, like waltzing_mice said, that's what helps you grow! :D

It's awesome you're not afraid to draw old, wrinkly people!
Speaking of older gents, I saw you have Balinor for the Celtic Animals. So excited to see it!

I think the comment will only go to me, but I'll definitely tell mice when I see her.
Btw, GSD has been meeting again at night! You should totally swing by. :)

Old wrinkly people are actually easier, for me at least, lol. I am excited to get to draw Balinor! :D

Thanks for passing along the message to mice. :D And I've been really happy to see people in the chat again. Hopefully I'll have more time to GSD in the evenings this week.

And now I really should get some cello-ing in, before my volunteer time at school, lol. :D
